About 

Tonino's International draws inspiration from the vibrant scene of 1980s New York, a time when delis and bodegas served as more than just places to eat – they were the heart of neighborhood connection.

 

Our project celebrates this rich heritage by embracing nostalgic branding, artwork, and collected pieces that pay tribute to the immigrant families and their corner shops, which were integral to the city's fabric.

 

Italian delis introduced New Yorkers to the rich flavors of Italy, with offerings like fresh buffalo mozzarella, Italian hero sandwiches piled high with cold cuts, and hearty pasta dishes. These delis often doubled as social hubs, where friends and family gathered to share a meal and catch up on the latest gossip.

By day, Tonino's offers freshly baked cornettos filled with Nutella and cream, locally roasted coffee, international-style sandwiches, and a full delicatessen with loads of local and imported cold cuts. By night, we transform into a cozy Italian bistro.
